Saint Joseph's Carpenter Society encourages responsible homeownership in Camden. Homeownership encourages stability, fosters personal pride, promotes the development of community ties, and allows familes to build wealth. Oftentimes, the monthly cost of owning a home can be nearly the same as the monthly cost of renting.
Currently the City of Camden is providing a one-time assistance for down payment and closings costs in the amount of $10,000. Also, you may qualify for a five year property tax abatement.
